Engineer
Jeff Edwards is a certified engineer since 2002, who claims an impressive discography loaded with big-name rap and R&B credits, and several Grammy nominations.
Jeff worked 6 years of hard-hitting concrete demolition work. Inspired by Dr. Dre's 2001 album and a catalog of beat-driven music, he decided to enroll at Full Sail in Orlando in 2001 to learn the art of audio engineering. He graduated late 2002, and interned at Trans Con Studios which led him to a paid position with The Hit Factory Criteria in Miami, FL.
In 2004, Jeff moved back to hometown Detroit where he started freelancing and working as the in-house engineer at a studio for an independent label. Not long after, while surfing the web, he found an engineering gig in Chicago that turned out to be a job with R. Kelly at The Chocolate Factory.
After a two-year run from '08 to '10 as a Pro Tools instructor with his alma mater, Jeff got the studio itch again, and relocated to Atlanta, where he worked with HOT producer Bangladesh.
